Kyle’s practice focuses primarily on agriculture, environmental, energy, and land use law. Prior to attending law school, Kyle worked as a beef cattle nutritionist for a national feed company. He has significant experience in the agricultural industry and uses that knowledge to serve landowners, livestock producers, ag businesses, and financial institutions and lenders. Now as an attorney, Kyle finds satisfaction in helping clients navigate the legal issues and opportunities that impact their businesses and operations. He regularly assists landowners with real estate transactions, easement matters, agricultural leases, and energy related agreements, including negotiating oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, pipeline and access easements, and agreements related to renewable energy development, such as wind and solar projects. Kyle has experience assisting landowners with water and environmental related issues, including addressing surface water and groundwater rights. Kyle also represents both land trust organizations and landowners in the negotiation of conservation easements, permanently protecting the conservation values of rural property. He also has significant litigation experience, having handled a diverse range of business and commercial disputes. Kyle is admitted to practice before state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Kyle is a Past-President and serves as a Director for the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
